Jarryd Bowers

Jarryd Bowers received a Bachelor’s degree in History with a minor in Classical Studies from Virginia Tech in 2008 and a Master of Arts in Christian Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2012. Since then, he has lived and worked in Richmond, Virginia, serving in multiple capacities at Remnant Church. Jarryd has taught informally throughout his adult life as the opportunity has arisen and has always enjoyed the reward of encouraging others to grow in understanding. Over time, Jarryd has become particularly focused on the narrative of scripture: not only how it informs the meaning of law and teaching, but also how it serves as the foundation and standard for all storytelling. Jarryd lives in Richmond with his wife and growing family and enjoys sharing and discussing stories with his children.
