01

Complete Application Form

Tell us a little about yourself, and we’ll help with the rest. Our online application creates a composite of each student and requires applicants to submit a portfolio, reflect on their experience with Christ, and speak candidly about their desire to be a maker. This may take some time, so please read through the application before beginning. Apply now →

02

Confirmation of Application

Once you have submitted your application, the Maker Institute will acknowledge receipt of your application by email within two working days.

03

Application Review

Maker Institute faculty and staff will review your application to confirm you meet our requirements. If so, you will be asked to complete an interview as the next part of the application process.

04

Application Interview

Interviews are usually completed over the phone or by Zoom with a member of the Maker Institute faculty. The purpose of this interview is to get to know you better, hear about your future plans, understand why you are interested in the Maker Institute, and develop an assessment program geared specifically to you.

05

Acceptance

Upon completion of the interview process, applicants will be notified by email within two weeks of the interview. If accepted, you will receive directions for a follow-up meeting to develop the individualized studio aspect of your time with the Maker Institute. If you have been declined admittance, you can set up a time to meet with a faculty member to discuss what you can do to better develop your application and portfolio.

06

Payment of Fees

The Maker Institute will issue an invoice for the balance of your first-year tuition fees, due before the commencement date. On payment of this invoice, a receipt of payment will be issued. All that is left is to join us for the first day of class!
